Should I really worry about esophageal cancer, or would this take many more years to develope. Are the chances low that I dont have this?

If you’re being treated for GERD and it’s still not resolving, then you should go back to your physician. Though it’s not likely esophageal cancer, you should get a scope, just to make sure it’s GERD, and not a hiatal hernia, and ulcer, etc
